1. Once you’ve invited a guest, assume that guest will always come to the event.
2. Calculate guest numbers using the formula recommended by the restaurant/caterer, hotel, or expert.
3. Every guest matters equally. Take care of VIP guests as you would ordinary guests, and take care of ordinary guests as you would VIP guests.
Take care of your parents’ and your partner’s guests as if they were your own.
4. If you want the event to be memorable, don’t invite guests just to focus on numbers — take the best possible care of the guests you do invite.
