We should treat our spouses, children, and parents with love, compassion, and respect — even when our parents belong to a different faith.
Beyond Rahmah, Islam also emphasizes the importance of communication within the family. We should communicate with kindness and compassion, listening to one another’s opinions and concerns. Doing so allows us to create a safe and supportive environment in which everyone can express themselves freely.
As we well know, raising a family is not easy — it requires patience, dedication, and commitment. However, with the guidance and principles of Islam, we can build a healthy and harmonious family environment that fosters the growth and development of our children.
