Nikah Training for a Happy Family – Group Course (Ghusur)

A group program of family planning and preparation before an Islamic marriage, run in scheduled rounds — focused on strengthening families and understanding Islamic law alongside Thai civil law. It is NOT a basic-religion or prayer course. Friendly to new Muslims and non-Muslims.

The pre-Islamic-wedding training program, or group pre-Nikah training, or Nikah training, is a short knowledge program to help start a warm family and reduce the divorce rate, using religious principles together with modern family planning principles to help build strength, as well as understand the legal system and the use of Islamic law alongside the current Civil and Commercial Code.

  • The importance of pre-nikah training and key tools for Islamic marriage
  • The steps of an Islamic marriage and who is involved
  • Culture and differences in marriage, and good communication in organizing a wedding
  • Managing differences when spouses hold different religious views, such as different madhhabs
  • Knowledge of Islamic marriage principles, such as mahr, nafaqah, the pillars of nikah, and others
  • The roles, rights, and duties of husband and wife
  • Managing family income according to Islamic principles and financial planning principles
  • Managing family conflict according to Islamic principles
  • Family planning once you have children, and a basic introduction to depression
  • Causes leading to domestic violence from the man’s side, and reducing that risk
  • Understanding an overview of family law, marriage documents, Islamic law, and how to apply them
  • Communication techniques and managing married life
  • Other topics (may be adjusted depending on time available)
  • For those who are not yet Muslim and wish to convert to Islam on that day, this can be requested after completing the course (without a certificate; if a certificate is needed, please inquire further)
