Adapting Your Organization to Serve the Islamic Market, Building a Multicultural Organization

There are 2 billion Muslims worldwide. If you want a way to make your products and services able to serve the Islamic market, by adjusting your organization with the least possible impact on its existing mission and goals — building on your existing structure, or not needing to build or adjust anything new at all — while reducing unnecessary expense, without affecting the feelings of existing staff or creating internal conflict, and building an organization where employees and management share a common view of the goal, this package is the answer.

Package

– Joint review of your business plan, presenting an expansion path aligned with the growing market, in the form of a written consulting summary.
– Attendance at one executive meeting session, to listen to information and propose business possibilities, or flag points of caution in the business’s current operations.
– Arranging a specialist speaker on relevant topics, to give management and staff the knowledge and understanding needed to prepare the organization for implementation — one morning and afternoon session.
– Participation as an outside consultant for 3 meeting sessions, to give opinions on various matters.

The consulting team is led by Khun Yaoharee Laeti, Thailand’s first specialist in Islamic weddings and in expanding multicultural family planning according to Islamic principles, founder and managing director of Araya Nikah Planner and Consult Co., Ltd., a teacher of Islamic studies, and a speaker on healthcare and other topics with experience in multiculturalism.

Process

1. A joint meeting with management to review the brand’s existing mission and goals, and to expand them in a way consistent with the special mission and the growing customer base.
2. Assessing that mission for feasibility in serving additional Islamic-market customers, and creating an atmosphere that is welcoming to multiculturalism.
3. Providing knowledge and understanding about Islam, Muslims, and multiculturalism — covering religious principles, practical guidelines, and the actual day-to-day life of Muslims that affects their purchasing choices — delivered by well-known speakers with knowledge of Islam and of running a multicultural business, totaling no more than 8 hours, with photos of the session that can be used to continue the marketing plan afterward.
4. A summary of the consulting and a suitable long-term approach, together with 3 further outside-consultant meeting sessions after implementation.
