Online Islamic Introducer Program

Dear everyone interested in delivering knowledge and peace to society as fellow Muslims

There is a saying: “It’s true, he or she may have entered Islam out of love, but who knows — this person may become someone God loves more than us. Not judging whether someone will become a good Muslim is one of the virtues of being Muslim.”   Nowadays, people discover Islam and come into contact with Islam in different ways. Love for a Muslim woman or man is one of the paths that God has arranged.

Today they have had the opportunity to encounter Islam. Our duty may be to provide tools that help them adjust, so that their other relatives of different faiths can see the beauty of Islam — a beauty that is not easily seen through the media, amid today’s media that is full of conflict and violence. This project was created for that reason: to build a good experience of religious transition, by creating understanding and learning the basics of Islam from teachers or trainers who are open-hearted toward friends of other faiths, before passing them on to grow within the Muslim world or with formal teaching institutions going forward.

The course format planned is online, 4-8 hours,  connecting the teacher and the learner directly through an online system. The team will only act as an intermediary, introducing several teachers with different approaches, through the website and well-prepared information,    for prospective new Muslims only.  After that, those who wish to learn will choose a teacher and contact them directly. Any teaching fees or donations supporting the teaching are a matter directly between the learner and the teacher, without going through an intermediary (the team will provide a guideline for a reasonable fee), and the teacher can design the course for that time as they see fit for the purpose.

Because learning about religion is something that can be learned throughout one’s life as a Muslim, after finishing the course, if desired, the learner can directly contact the teacher to ask for deeper religious study, or,  if a more formal form of learning is wanted, the team will further recommend institutions that offer teaching, the Santichon Foundation, or various mosques.

Developing a good experience for those ready to convert to Islam is a strong commitment of the team, who want to deliver this to prospective new Muslims as well as their close relatives who are not Muslim.   Because in a world full of information and social differences, there is not much space left for people of different faiths and Muslims to get to know each other with an open heart. So what we are doing is like expanding that space to be wider. Even if the people who come into contact do not end up converting to Islam, but these spaces will let them truly feel the greeting that means “may peace be upon you.”

Let’s help deliver knowledge and goodness to friends of other faiths. What happens beyond that is something we cannot determine. For those interested, further details can be read in the following document. I wish for peace to arise and be upon you, and may Allah reward the goodness in what you are doing and will continue to do for society.

The question is: if we have someone who wants to try touching on Islam, but isn’t yet ready to learn Islam through a formal course, and we have 4-8 hours in which they open their heart to us, what would we tell them?
